Wow, ok, I went here the first time about... 7 yrs ago. Yes, I was about 17 and in High School. It was great to me then. Everything I loved about NY. I was partying upstairs (which was the place to be). The outside patio was fun ; ) I met Jermaine Dupree and the music was good. Was trendy. As for the present... not a clue! I wouldn't think after 7 yrs a place would still be as good (in NY atleast). I am unsure but may have to take a look inside to see what type of crowd is spotted.

People!! Were you going to a baseball game or a club? Or maybe you just got out of a baseball game?? Either way, I have no problem wearing jeans out, because it is San Francisco and all, but...If you are going to wear jeans, can you at least jazz them up with a cute top and even cuter heels? I was jazzed about finally getting to try this place out (on a Fri.), and once we entered I was still pretty jazzed about it. There were only two rooms open, one that was dark and looked like the inside of a cave (except there was red lighting), and the other was really bright and had white pleather sofas alongside the walls, and was lit up by neon lighting (think Fluid). The first of the rooms played house or techno, and the second played hip hop, or a mix of it. There were bars in both rooms, (thanks Mr. Bartender for giving is a 2pher - 2 for 1!!). Only problems were these...people were way under dressed, and even though it was about 11:30, it wasn't packed at all. Just a gaggle of people sitting around drinking in the seats alongside the walls, which all happen to look onto the floor (dance floor), and since I have a problem with putting on a show for free (ha!), my friends and I opted to sit out all of the songs, and instead enjoy our drinks and look at everyone else. I'm sure in time this place will figure things out and get more people coming through their doors. But for now... Still, I'll give it 3 stars, because I really did like the space.
