Telling people about Bob Bar always results in a response of "The bar is called Bob?" This dark and cozy little space is a great little venue if you can handle the crowd it builds when it gets hopping.  I forgot where I read it, but it's true by the end of the night the bathrooms quickly turn into makeshift bedrooms for those so sexually charged they can't make it home. The music here is great with the DJ always mixing things up seamlessly to keep the party going. Drinks are the perfect balance of price and stiffness and the crowd is unpretentious.  It's everything you could want in a spot to hang. Everyone here is just out to have a good time dancing, drinking and hanging out.

I went to "The Estate" last Saturday for the Boston Common Magazine party hosted by Citibank and Herb Chambers and had a descent night! This used to be the Big Easy-then Mansion. It is a nice but really DARK place to hang out in with some really dark bathrooms!!! Bill Raye Baron Associates- Boston MA
