one night me and a few friends went out with the intention of going to juliet, however after traveling all the way there, one dumb bitch in our group announces she's forgotten her id. i figured she would go home and get it, or she would go home and just stay there and wallow in her failure, but instead she dragged us all down to griffin where she knew a promotor who got us all in. whatevaa bad things - when i asked the bartender for a birthday cake shot, she didn't know how to make it.. yeah, neither do i, but I'M NOT THE BARTENDER BITCH - they REALLY enforce only one person in a stall at once. me and my friend tried to go in together, and they actually grabbed her and pulled her out. it was a long and lonely pee without her - drinks were waaaay expensive. i bought myself one shot and it was $12. i'm not ballin like that, i like my vodka mixed with snapple and drunk in the bathroom of starbucks to be honest, and paying more than $8 for a shot makes me angry rawrr good things - because we were with promoter boy, we got a booth and free drinks (well, free for me, somebody was paying) - i thought the bouncers were nice and understanding of our id-less friends situation, not like the dick bouncers at juliet looking back on this, the bad seems to outweigh the good.. i'm still giving griffin 4 stars though, because i know i generally had a good night and danced and was merry despite the few setbacks listed above. griffin's a solid place to go to, but definitely not one of the best.. i would go back if i had a booth/table/whatever again, but not without one. idk where the regular people stand anyways. there's no dance space

I stopped in to kill some time and left delighted and inspired. The ambiance is quite swell but the staff were so very friendly and fun and that's all I need to know I will return again soon.

Isn't it weird to go to a club across the street from your school? Yes. Doesn't it feel like you are probably in your high school auditorium? Yes. Doesn't it make you feel like you are in your high school auditorium even more when you are on the dance floor and there's water dripping on your head from some pipe above? Yes. Doesn't it make you feel old when a college guy comes over to you and hits on you, especially when you just got married and feel old anyways? Yes. Doesn't it sound like I won't be returning to this place any time soon? Yes.
