Sitting on a boat, with good company and some drinks and some hot dogs... beautiful weather.. staring off into the distance... this place is great! sure the drinks could be cheaper...but what you're getting in return is priceless....it's big so you can have groups, I've had a group of 8 find seating easily... that's a hard find in the city, its hard to find a place where you can just relax outside... no one is going to bother you about leaving. just enjoy life, stay thirsty my friends.
by Dan Omo on Small and loud. I came here for an art exhibit, but there really wasn't all that much art to be seen. Sure, there were a few pieces of art on the walls, and a few things were pretty neat, but the lighting was all wrong. This made it hard to see the art, and it wasn't clear whether it was for sale or just for exhibition. The exhibit was entitled "disgustingly trendy," which was about right. Bands were playing way too loudly for the small space. I've walked by here at least 100 times, and never end up going in due to the noise. Within 15 or 20 minutes my ears were ringing, and its pretty hard to have a conversation over the music. And I go out pretty frequently... Maybe I'm not hip enough for this place.
