by Julie C. on Lava is ok. It's got a pretty cool layout, the music can be good sometimes, but other times it can be just straight crap. It's all about the upstairs lounge though. Always good tunes up there and the chick bartender up there is HOT! Ok, so shes my friend, of course I would say that, but really if you aren't feeling the main floors head up there for a better experience.
by Corrie Sawczyszyn on Ah so here goes my 4:30 am drunken review of Vault. I always have an excellent time there. Great vibe, great music, great design, great sound system. I end up at Vault once a month on Fridays for the monthly Blk Market Membership parties that Taimur and Fahad throw. Good techno and house. Taimur is one of my favorite NYC DJ's. Vault is what most NYC bars and clubs should aspire to be like: Nice crowd that appreciates good music, cool staff and interesting space.
