by Carmen Myers on Hi We have been Organizing a Handicap Bowling League and My husband and I are the only wheelchair bound Individuals that are running it for over 15 yrs and I feel that the way the workers treat us is no different than in the proper manner, there helpful if we need it! The League consist of 16 Bowlers this year! We deal with all types of disabilities, M.S., Spina Bifida, spinal cords, C.P. Our lanes our beautiful and We even come from all the way from Farmington ct. East High School student have been Our majority of volunteers! It makes me proud that When we were asked an offer to bowl some where closer to home we said no! Thanks Amf we find you the greatest!
by Samantha S. on I'm going to admit I haven't been to the venue (and I heard its fabulous) so I'm writing based on my bar experience. I absolutely love the crowd, atmosphere, and feeling of this place. Based on this alone, I would be here every night of the week. Unfortunately what knocks this place down for me is the UNBEARABLY SLOW bar service. You could be standing at the bar for what feels like FOREVER for what feels like the weakest drink you have purchased, from a less than friendly woman. Because of this, patronizing Johnny Brenda's is surely a chore for me.
by Eusebio Graddy on I was lead to this location starry eyed. How can one not be on cloud nine in such a fantastic area? I was told we were going to a bar which had basically been around since the beginning of time...well maybe only since the early 1800s. It definitely was tiny but incredibly charming, with exposed rich dark wood beams. I suppose we weren't beautiful enough to be seated next to the window at a front table...but it didn't matter in the end because the food was fantabulous! I had a really yummy salad and the best burger I have ever eaten. I apologize for my lack of additional descriptive words, but you will be pleasantly surprised with their food.
