For 10 bones, you can't go wrong with this place.  For all you first timers, make sure you get there early for the planetarium tickets.  My friends and I didn't know, so they were all sold out by 8:00. This place felt more like the lobby to a Vegas casino than anything.  Music, booze, and people here to mingle, or sorta mingle.  You can't really get to crazy hear, or the albino alligator might get yah. The line for the rain forest gets out of hand as well.  It's hot and humid inside the bio dome, so be prepared to dis-robe. I have to say my favorite part, so far, was the aquarium.  They got tons of sea creatures I haven't seen at other aquariums.  I wish I didn't rush through this area, but I will definitely go back to look at it some more.  Touch the electric eel display for a shocking surprise. I am very disappointed in the African section.  They only have one live exhibit.  I guess you can't house a pride of lions inside that small area, but having manichean animals didn't cut the cake for me.  I wish the penguins were more active, they were just looking back at us like, "what the f#ck, you want us to jump into the water for the 1000th time?" All in all, I'm going back again for the planetarium.  It was fun, lively, and I can see why it draws people.

Yowee! Two establishments in one -- a coffee house and nightclub.  So in the morning you have free wifi, friendly cute geeky baristas in ponytails, bagels, latte.  You can stay as long as you want.  Plug in.  Nice salads and sandwiches.  Homemade desserts, even a pastry chef.  A little expensive.  And then.... 5PM sharp in come the bra-less girls with make-up and attitude, waiter's corkscrew in their waistband.  They whisk the saran from the well and get their pour on.  You got your bottle service, your big screen videos, mood lighting, VIP room, velvet rope. They don't turn the wifi off.  Not until things get heavy.  Which is long after 5PM. Best of both worlds, no compromise.  From the lounge is an expensive, lavish trendy interior.  Downtown New York-y. Good sound system.  Furniture that's expensive, well built and comfortable.   From the cafe you've got a big well appointed bathroom, flowersw, balloons.  And most of all, spotless cleanliness.  This place actually looks better in the day with sunlight bouncing through the window. These are the same people who own the frat-cave-like hip hop club downstairs.  Which brings up....$1 beer from 5-6. All in all, one of the best places to bring a MacBook and stay a few hours.
