Lucky for me, I came here for brunch clear-headed and sober as a rock. Without much surprise, I left feeling quite buzzed after swimming in bottomless pomegranate mimosas during my one hour there. *** First of all -- let me make it clear that you do not come to Lime for the food. It's pretty overpriced for teeny tiny portions of food on plates that are too small for you to cut on. You come here because Lime provides you with the opportunity to continue your nightlife during the day -- all while serving the best kind of drunk food: eggs and starch. In other words, be prepared to eat in a bright, high-energy, non-traditional restaurant with music blasting so loud, you'll lose your voice after screaming over the table to your fellow companions. It's a "morning club/lounge" that you have to experience at least once in your life. 3.5 stars from me.
by Otilia Agney on I have lived here for over 11 years now and I had never been to the Cinch. Wow, was I missing out! As mentioned in countless other reviews, very friendly staff, great amenities and I must point out the tragically bad (read: excellent) drag show that was happening the night I was there. Lots to see and the bar seems to attract a wide variety of people. Strong drinks and the patio was great as well. The highlight of the evening was when I walked into the bathroom and saw 3 drag queens with dresses hiked up to pee who all turned and in unison yelled (in their most manly voices) "Hey buddy - get the hell out of here! This is the Ladies room godammit!" I think I'm in love.
