by Afton T. on I had a great time last night at Cafe Cocomo-first time! Went with my fiance, and 3 other friends. The 2 other girls had been before and were decent at salsa. I was terrible, but people were gracious and didnt make me feel like an idiot! Fun, different thing to do in the city! SO why 2 stars? The huge asshole door guy who told my fiance and his friends that they weren't properly dressed. But he said it like this "you look stupid, and you look like you just stepped out of a trashcan and basically everyone will laugh at you" Judgemental prick. Paying customers simply shouldn't be treated that (or hey, anyone for that matter.)
by Mikel Dyser on This is southern style food with a kick. This place has a great atmosphere, its very dimly lit which gives it a romantic vibe. Great place to have a nice dinner and a glass of wine.
