by Ernie Francey on I had never heard of this place before I went here randomly last night. We stopped in at 8 and made a reservation for 2 at the earliest, 10:15pm that night (a Tuesday). We came back a little early and hung out in the lounge for a bit then were seated. The wait staff was really nice and helpful. We ended up ordering just appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Even with the crowd, service was very prompt. Everything we tried was quite good, although a bit overpriced. Oh, and the dress was kind of that mix between casual and dressy. Lots of collared shirts and jeans, but some t-shirts mixed in and a lot of girls in dresses. The girl I went with was in jeans, so whatever. Overall, it was a good time.
by Carlos B. on This is "Iron Chef" Morimoto's restaurant. I'm a big fan and not checking him out when he was just a couple hours drive away was bothering me. Can you imagine my face when I walked in there (reservations) and saw that MORIMOTO was in an open aired kitchen...COOKING! Most exec chefs tell others what and how to (cook) but don't actually cook. I was ecstatic! He actually came to our table to see how we were doin' and what were interested in... how flattering being that HE was the superstar. I asked him to serve me what he was "feelin' today. I loved the service. The food put me on a pedestal. He (Morimoto) would personally come by to "cleanse our pallets" with wasabi sorbet or some creative cocktail. I felt like a "baller" :) BRING REAL MONEY$
