by Yuan W. on Came here for lunch today with my lesbian lover (if I was a lesbian, she would be my lover). This place is funky but I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I walked in, headed upstairs, and recognized immediately it is a night club. The place isn't really organized and you have to track someone down for seating. There is an outside seating area but unfortunately with the temperature bordering 140 degrees, I didn't want to combust. We saw a table inside with no chairs, asked about it, so the manager took out two folding chairs from the office for us. I had the grilled chicken salad which was surpringly good. I asked for no blue cheese and light on the dressing and they got it exactly right. And of course, I couldn't resist the fries which were wimpy and soggy, just the way I like them. The waitress came by to ask if we like the fries like that, I almost stabbed her hand with my fork when I thought she was going to take them away. Will I come again? I don't know... The food is good and all that, but there are so many fantastic places around the financial district that I doubt I will trek all the way out here for lunch again.
by Lucius Derry on Don't take this as a representation of my reviews, but I've been to too many similar bars lately. This is your Off the Wagon/Bar None North. Actually not as crowded, reasonable pitchers and good beer pong tables.
