by megan k. on went last week for the first time. my friend just started working there, so we went to check it out. the crowd was eclectic and cool. we sat at the bar. megan was our bar tender. she was great. we tried a couple dishes. all tastey. my fav being the lobster macaroni n cheese. i will def go again. but next time i will actually sit at my friends table. she didnt benefit from my visit at all. sorry dehuff!
by Mike Bogert on There are so many things I like about National Mechanics that I don't know where to begin. I'm very fond of the fact that it's owned by geeks. I love that they make their own veggie burgers. And I REALLY love that they make their own, slightly secret bacon vodka (and it's actually better than you'd expect it to be). I also love the funky decor, the artistically crafted light fixtures and the cool bathrooms. As far as bars go, there isn't much not to like about National Mechanics.
