by Lisa K. on I came here for a fundraising event. This place was alright, but I wasn't a fan of the fake foliage or the string of crystal balls. The bartenders were unfriendly (probably because they get more tips on a regular night.... most people were donating instead of tipping since everyone already paid $55 dollars at the door to support the event) and the work staff were rude. While the end of the night was being wrapped up-- staff were putting tables away and shoving people aside to clean up. Not exactly friendly. I'm pretty confident to say that I won't go to Greenhouse again.

Here's my star breakdown 1 - Decor is great. 15 foot Buddha's an other ancient statues add authenticity to this new SOMA spot. Coupled with all white floors/walls/leather booths makes for a swanky club vibe. 2 - Big, clean bathrooms. 3 - Free passes to Temple, the nightclub. (only after complaining about the lack of music). -1 - No music during happy hour. Needs it to add a little life to the otherwise appealing space. -1 - I heard the food was terrible. Didn't try it, but that was the general consensus from those who did. I would recommend it for a couple drinks after work, but not for dining. I'll add it to my list for clubs to check out, but probably won't come back anytime soon for HH.
