by David M. on One of my favorite NYC music venues. Great sound and nice decor. If you're looking for good house or tech-house music then this is your place. There is no pop music or 80's music being played so don't bother and go elsewhere The only downside is that the club pulls in overflow from the Meatpacking district crowd which look out of place. Plus many self respecting techno enthusiasts won't ever go to Cielo or near the Meatpacking district.
by Napoleon Schrecker on Hard to believe I've been working downtown for six months just mere blocks from Minna & I'd never been until last Friday. Still, I have to say I really love the wide-open feeling of the space, the attentiveness of the bartenders, & the mix of the crowd. As far as post-work happy hour joints go, I think it's about as good as they come.
