This place was decent 5 years ago. now its ghetto, watered down drinks, and there about 10 dudes to every girl. go somewhere else if you want to have a good time. This place is a GHETTO SAUSAGEFEST! We actually ate dinner here too, which i remember being pretty decent. The food was unedible. we went to go and grab some burgers at 38 degrees. if you guys are going out in Alhambra go to one of the other spots.

Doesn't compare to Pappadeauxs but thats not what I am reviewing :-) The highlight of the entire meal was the eccentric waitor who kept referring to our crab stuffed catfish as "Stuffed Cat"! We were ROFL literally! It was sooooooooo funny even moreso after that hurricane drink we all slurped down ... slowly...because the drink was the truth. We went as a table of 20 and it took a while for them to place us. When we did get placed, our waitor was switched so we had to reorder (all 20 of us) everthing over again. The service was kind of lackluster..poor...But I liked my "stuffed cat" lol and the biscuits that came with it...OMG....Wish I had a few more of em'! Overall it was ok but nothing to brag about. Save your time...go to Pappadeauxs!

Went to this place for trivia night on Wednesday night. Was a relaxing chill hipster crowd early in the night, then as it got closer to trivia the crowd became more mixed. Preppy types, and young professionals. Everyone having fun and enjoying The Local's excellent food choices and great beer prices. I ordered a pulled pork BBQ sandwich and it was delicious. The waiter even brought over a choice of BBQ sauces, including vinegar based sauce, and a South Carolina mustard based sauce. The dish included pickles and hushpuppies on the side. It hit the spot, and just what I needed to enjoy trivia and drink cheap pitchers of beer with my friends. I highly recommend this place, either for a chill date or hanging out with your buds.
