by Xavier Harkema on My boyfriend and I went to Aja for date night. The atmosphere was really nice and the music was good. The drinks were tasty and so was the food. I ordered the coconut soup and the lamb. Both were some of the best I've had in a long time. My boyfriend orderd a shrimp dish that was definitely not even close to as good as mine unfortunately. For desert we ordered the doughnuts and really enjoyed them. Overall, the service, drinks and food was good. I would definitely go back.
by Ashley H. on It was indeed a pleasant surprise when I came to realize that the chef was on top chef las vegas! though i don't watch the show consistently i was willing to give him a chance to see what he had to offer. The atmosphere is very nice, you know how some restaurant is extremely dimly lit that you feel really sleepy? Well, Woodfire Grill gave a warm and friendly environment and there was enough light but not so bright so it wasn't invasive. We had the 5 chef's tasting menu, which was a perfect amount of food. not too much but so little that i was leaving still hungry. Each course was explained enthusiastically by staff, and they were very very friendly. I definitely think Kevin Gilespie has a great staff/team with him and that Woodfire Grill is entirely worth it.
