by Charley Salsgiver on 3.5 stars. like most reviewers warn, you gotta set yourself to be in the mood to enjoy lime at its best--weekend brunch with unlimited mimosas. staff is pretty good with refilling drinks so you do get your money's worth. food is pretty good--i enjoy their frittata, egg benedict and chocolate chips pancakes.
by Tobias Brocklebank on I sure hope this is a great nightclub because its sure a lousy restaurant ! Went for a snack before going down to the convention center. We wished we had waited to eat one of the concessions 3.00 pretzels or Pizza hut slices instead. All I had was a breakfast taco, my partner had breakfast. What a waste of money! My taco had a very small slice of bacon and a greasy hard fried small egg that came out on a really chewy small tortilla- laying flat on a side dish plate. No presentation - looked really sparse. Yea I know you can't expect much from a 2.00 taco but come on. It's pretty sad when a Seven Eleven can do a better job than a restaurant . The full breakfast wasn't any better. The only positive thing I can say is that the eggs were cooked as ordered. Those 4 or 5 deep fried cubes of potatoes swimming in what might have been runny refried beans that I am told tasted like absolutely nothing was a huge waste of money. They weren't busy but servers hanging around a booth behind us chatting about the killer whale wasn't appealing to us. Look for something to do for goodness sake.
by dory k. on Strong drinks, no attitude, open late, great crowd - who actually dances! Other than Vanguard, this is the only other club where I will consider playing in LA. For those of you who wanted deep house on a Friday night, please consult the website or remember the following. Saturdays are Balance. Deep House every single Saturday 1st and 3rd Fridays are run by Incognito and can range from House, Techno and Minimal to Progressive and bigger room stuff. 2nd and 4th Fridays are run by Compression and are consistently Techno, Tech-House and Minimal.
