by Celestine Ramez on This place was fun, but i was with fun people :D Few different rooms to venture into and the music wasn't bad. Bollywood techno was interesting... and sort of fun to dance/grind to haha I'm a girl, so my drinks were paid for by men, price wasn't an issue. Staff was fairly nice as far as i could see. Talked to two staff members, one a bouncer and one bartender and they were pretty cool. The bathrooms were clean, which kind of surprises me. Also went up into VIP, which is really cool because you can see everything going on below and the DJ, but wasn't anything extremely special and was more fun in the crowd. It all depends who you go with and what you make out of it, this wasn't a fantastic, mind-blowing place, but i had a blast goofing around, dancing, and getting drunk.
by Eugenia Bisignano on very chic theatre-like interior. trannies. stripper pole. hipsters...... what's not to love? I adore the place because it's so random and different. Admission is a bit exclusive, but the crowd is interesting. Drinks are expensive- but hey, it's nyc.. whaddya expect?! Music is fantastic (great place to dance!), and there's a burlesque or circus style show every half hour. Come with an open mind and ready for a fun time!!!
by Anna H. on I guess I'm a jerk who fell right into the tourist trap without realizing it. My mom and I trekked all over Philly without eating a cheese steak at any of the thousand billion places on every street-- and then by the time we wanted one, we were at the crossroads: Geno's or Pat's. We picked Geno's mooooostly because it had a table free. Now, I'm not crazy about the components of a cheesesteak on their own, but served with a healthy dose of right-wing lunacy they taste even worse. Ugh. Totally unimpressed, and I never want to see bumper stickers like the ones in the window here again (This is America: Order in ENGLISH). At least I know where not to go next time.
