by Else Popoca on I am ...extremely shocked that some Rateclub members gave this vile club 5 stars. It is of the following: 1. Ghetto 2. Discretes a pungent odor 3. People from the woodworks...(in a disturbing, what are they wearing, ew people like that exist -- kind of way) 4. Ghetto. I think we were here....10 minutes, and decided that it just "wasn't right" for us, and shuffled out the door.
by Thelma Cataline on Overpriced drinks. Creepy, dank underground atmosphere. Old men. Yup, Columbus 72 has it all. I recently went to Columbus 72 for an alumni night and was pretty disappointed that the people organizing the event picked this spot. The simplest of drinks are weak, poorly mixed and cost $8-10. The music is so bad it's hard to dance, although I don't know if I'd recommend dancing anyway given the sort of people you find on the dance floor. And worst of all, there is a cover. They actually charge for this?
by Courtney Y. on This place is kind of cool on the inside. The night I went they had performances that were similar to Cirque Du Soleil which I love. However, I am not much of a club person. I hate crowds and creepy men. So this is a place that would feel safer to me to go with a guy. I went with a group of my girlfriends. I doubt I would go back again.
