by Lisa M. on Sugar Cafe was a nice surprise!! We were looking for a place to hangout and get some dessert or something to drink after dinner in the neighborhood and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The desserts that my friends ordered were not spectacular and my Americano was just okay but we still had a lot of fun. We got there early enough to beat the crowd and get some private tables. And, there was a vodka promotion going on that day. We won free t-shirts and drink tickets for participating in head to head stationary bike races which was a lot of fun. It definitely gets really crowded there later but I wouldn't mind going back to check it out again.
by Quiana Thielemann on Great atmosphere for a night out. The views from the balcony are impressive and the crowd is a cross section of Atlanta. I wasn't the oldest guy there which, at my advanced age, is a plus. The wait staff is always attentive and super friendly. The music is decent although during the time I was there, it was definitely geared more towards my age demographic. My only complaint is that it can be a bit more pricey than need be ... but I guess you've got to make a buck or two while you can.
