by Alex P. on Wow this quality of this place has gone down. The crowd reminded me slightly of the Jersey Shore, and not in a good way (come to think of it, there's nothing "good" about the Jersey Shore reference..) I went back after one year on a Saturday night with friends. Somehow the whole place seemed outdated, from the summer 2009 hits to the bleached-blonde girl extravaganza. "Avenue" is a classier alternative by far. If you have to spend $15+ for a glass of wine, at least do it without a side of mini+cleavage sartorial disasters.
by Catheryn Presti on This place epitomizes what the Meatpacking district is becoming - large, overdone, expensive with lots of B&T. Went here on a Saturday evening with a few friends from out of town (their choice) and although the interior is quite dramatic this place is a little too much of a scene for me. You can barely find the place because on the outside it's not very well marked. We were in the bar/lounge area. The drinks are of course expensive (about $15+) and the appetizers were miniscule (about 3-5 bites on average) and close to the $20 mark. Of course, you have the typically pushy waitresses who pressure you to order another drink as soon as you have taken your last sip and the snooty hostesses. I personally won't be making an effort to come back.
