by Yen T. on Went here for a friends birthday. Music sucked upstairs in the Pussycat room. Music downstairs was good for awhile. Service is awesome and very professional. They have this really skinny guy as a bouncer before you get in, oi vay, what a bad idea. "Everyone hates me, I'm known to be an ass DJ. I don't give a fcuk about you guys, I only live for music.". -Dj himself... Now I know why no one likes him.. b/c he SUCKS! Overall, nice place, ugly music. I will go back to try the food! B/c reviews about the food here is going crazy.
by William Raisbeck on I think I would give this place a better rating if the crowd had been different when I went (some chick had a birthday or a going away party or something and it was like Marina in the Mission night, blar). All in all, this is a great location--the music is fantastic and eclectic (varying daily--wednesday is reggaeton night!!) and the staff is pretty laid back. The drinks are fresh and yummy (I tried the "Rose," which is a ginger-cran-vodka pleaser, and the "Flamboyant," which is a hibiscus-tamarind-vodka diddy), but they only had one bartender the night that I went, which wasn't enough for the crowd. Yeah, it's small, it's hot, but it's a rad place and one of the few places to offer Afro-funk and reggaeton music, so I dig it.
