by Cleveland Holohan on As my girlfriends and I always say: "Quote the Raven, 'Nevermore.'" I got a Saturday night last minute call from the girls: "Let's go to Suede!" So I went.... The Crowd: 19 year old girls with fake ID's. I am 23 and I was probably one of the oldest gals there. The guys are a mix of ages, but a good half of them had just turned 21. 1st Floor: SARDINES. Pushing, shoving, grunting, and sleazy-ness all in a tiny dance floor. There is a bar right next to the restroom which does not help with flow of space. Also near the same bar is a stage where all the drunk 19 year olds like to dance. Between the bar, the stage, and the restrooms, there is no movement and no chance of squeezing through to go to another area of the club. At one point, I saw a friend of mine get sucked into the crowd.. when I tried to push through and find her, she had disappeared.. hahaha. 2nd Floor: Sauna. WHEW a little more space--probably cause everyone was stuck somewhere between the stage, the bar, and the bathroom on the 1st floor--but I didn't like the condensation of moisture that was in the air. Also didn't like the fact that the steamy sweat from the body heat was probably opening up my pores and exposing them to the nasty bacteria in the moisture. As if my skin really needs more of that! Perhaps another, less crowded night would have been better, but I probably won't be going back for a long time. 2 stars because I was probably being extra grumpy and harsh. I just had a REALLY BAD TIME. P.S. Someone threw up by the 2nd floor bar. No one cleaned it up. I only found out because I was standing in it for 5 minutes before realizing what it was. It was difficult to tell anyway, since the floors in the entire place are slicked with spilled drinks and sweat. what more do I need to say?? Upon remembering this incident, I must change my score to uno star. P.P.S. My friend, who was wearing her new Italian leather heels, was not happy to find herself standing in the upchuck either.

Once for dinner... food was great... service was perfect.(Just the right amount of eye candy) Second time we went was late night Friday for dancing/drinks.... great value and great music!! Fun pop remixes (if you liked ManRay Saturdays, this is the place for you)... just went again last Friday and had a BLAST. your drinks are STRONG... DJ was great and the crowd was fun... and when the weather gets warm, you need to check out the patio (you can't even see the gas station from here I swear!!)
