by Oren Dobler on I think I was starved for a night out dancing, so my standards could be low. We had to wait for a little bit, mostly because a gaggle of 6 guys was clogging up the front of the line, but eventually some promoter-type pulled us out and let us walk around. I skipped the slide, the whole "take off your shoes" thing really cramped my style. The bartenders had a drink in my hand the second I shoved some skank out of the way to get up to the bar, and the DJ spun an acceptable mix of 80s hip-hops mash ups, which was enough to keep me dancing and singing until I was hoarse and sore. The crowd was...decent. Not who I'd have over to my house, but if I have to involuntarily (and voluntarily) grind with a bunch of strangers, these ones weren't all bad.
by Karen L. on My favorite night bar/club (more of a bar) in Los Angeles. I love it for so many reasons! It's usually not packed, cover tends to be cheaper (depending on the night), music selection tends to be better than most bars/clubs (in my opinion), and I just love the general atmosphere of the place. Very chill and not too fancy... makes for a good night!
