by Merna Sautner on It would have been five stars, but I have a personal reason for knocking it down to four. I went to see Cat Power about a month ago, and it was the week in winter when it was about 17-25 degrees out. The venue had us waiting outside for almost an hour in the freezing cold!! Digressing, the venue was simply stunning. I loved the mood of the place and the small stage that Chan (Cat Power) performed on. The floor space was perfectly roomy enough and the audience was orderly. No tall people in the front row because there was enough space to seat yourself on the floor and enjoy the show. I sat down because I am one of those annoying tall people in the way. I think everyone in the house had a pretty decent view.
by wats c. on been to this place once for goth night. i was kinda feeling it. some people were having sex behind a sheet hanging on the wall so i guess that was pretty ill.
