by Gerard Y. on I dont know if it's like this all the time but the dj was pretty good. He managed to blend east/west coast rap, dancehall, r&b, 80s, and rock pretty good. Drinks/shots were mixed alright. Had a good time dancing. They have a tv screen playing 'Collateral' while Thong was playing. Comedy gold. Haha. Edit: I stepped outside for some fresh air and the bouncer charged a $5 cover charge to get back in. Whack. You lose a star.
by Demetrius Durick on Great new underground space, good sound system, bar access, lighting and seating. Negative= bathrooms! Better bathrooms on most jets. Icky unisex poorly lit stalls, me no like! Bartenders were helpful and plentiful. Seating was great, servers nonexistant, but busboys kept coming around and regularly removing empties and keeping the place clean. No food to be had, but it was promised at the opening party I attending. Could miscommunicado, so cannot hold Vessel responsible.
