by Marjorie B. on Tuck your elbows in, ladies, and be conscious that the hemline of your dress will rise at least 4 inches by the time you get to the bottom. I suggest a new ladies rule for the slide: please wear underwear. You can take it off later, but until they sanitize the slide after every use, keep your knickers on! All other aspects of this establishment have been duly reviewed, and I agree with the majority. It's probably a better club than most in SF, if you're looking for club beats you can recognize, vibrant goodlooking urban professionals, central union square location that can't be beat, and there's the slide- fun!
by Carmelia Chenault on I was falling down drunk and it was 20 mins to last call and they let me and a friend in anyway. FREE. It turns out it was Redman, Raekwon and Ghotsface Killah. Fortunately I am actually a big fan of wu tang so I was in f-ing heaven. We managed a few shots and a couple drinks before embarking on the biggest drunk mess scene the Mosser (friends lodging for the night) has seen, EVAR. But just for letting me in free to get my drink on and surprising me with wu tang I give Mezzanine 4 stars. The previous visit got zero stars since the crowd was ugly, my name was not on the list, the cover was silly for nothing and yuck.
