by Morgan Pele on I went on a friday night after the Lakers game and had a great time. The main area was playing some good house music and bartenders were quick with all my drink orders. The upstairs DJ was playing some dope old school hip hop and saw couple celebs roaming around. For the night I went im giving it 4 stars bc of ease of getting in, beautiful girls, good music, and overall great experience.
by Mani F. on I feel sort of silly being the 340th or somesuch reviewer, but hell, El Rio is awesome. Great back patio, chill vibe, never any attitude or "gee, you're not a local" BS. Pool table, games, lots of open space - just a great local dive in the best sense of the word. Top flight.
