After being told by a promoter that if your not a list you prob won't get , I still waited because it seems many clubs do this to hype it up.Well after a long wait I decided to go elsewhere. It seems you must be on a guest list or have bottle service get in. There are 2 lines: one for people with bottle service or who are on the guest list and another for people who are on neither guest list or bottle service list. If you are planning to come here without getting on a list be prepared to pay the promoter a few hundred (depending on how many ppl your with) plus the additional cover charge ( crazy!!).I pretty much overheard a worker there say that the second line leads to no where. She said It's there so that you wait long enough until your desperate to get in that you pay extra money to the door people.One other thing to add is that I expected to see better looking and better dressed people coming in this place. Overall, it was dissapointing:/
by Terrie Cusson on Ohhhh I miss my days in the A, and a big part of my latter days was spent at Compound. Now for all the people that are complaining about the prices..go party in any other major city and see what you will pay. Like everyone in this post has said, Compound is huge. Both an indoor and outdoor club that has a night for every type of audience possible. Everyone can have a good time here depending on what day you are going. AG took his connections and hype from selling 'Vision' and brought it to Compound so you will definately see the same Mega Events that were on Peachtree in the back of the new artsy district. The only thing, if you see someone you like, don't punk out and not say anything because 9 times out of 10 you will never see them again. P.S. If you can get in contact with the right people or buy enough tables in VIP they will give you a VIP card that admits 3 at any time with no waiting in line
