by James O. on I've only visited once, but I was very impressed! I ordered the black bean burger and it was incredible. Nice thick slices of fresh tomato (not thin slices of half-green tomato that I have sadly come to expect on a burger), a generous number of onions, REAL crisp lettuce (not it's limp, beaten-down cousin that goes by the same name), a whole-grain bun, and a delicious meat-free patty that put beef to shame. The fries were perfectly hot and just the right blend of crisp/soft. The server was friendly and attentive, the place was clean and bright, and of course the food was delicious. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because it was a bit pricey ($9 for my burger and fries).
by Olinda Seales on Take a stroll down memory lane with me... the year is 2005 and Mood just opened. Randomly on Hollywood Blvd, with no sign, no nothing. You walk in and you are transformed into one of the most beautiful looking venues in Hollywood-- decked out in rich wood, Asian accents and hot hot bartenders... a smoking lounge that is indoors and patrons that are straight from the magazine covers... fast forward now to 2007... SNAP. everyone comes here now. The old, the creepy, the ugly, the healthy, oh the healthy. I don't have anything against big boned ed people... actually I like it when they dance. They are doing cardio for themselves and it inspires me to work out more... but honestly, girls that are big should NOT wear bright colors like hot pink, red, blue, etc. to draw attention to themselves. Also, beware of creepy white guys on Thursday nights, which is "AZN" night. Mood still is great... the legacy and legend continues... minus the ugly people now. I'm shallow. Hate me. It's Hollywood.
