The newest swanky club in the meatpacking district, residing in the space once occupied by the late PM lounge. Beautiful people and drinks, entertaining... fun... and for now, it is "the club" that all of those on the make seem to be heading to... If you're not really beautiful or connected, you're best to wait for some of the hype to die down before giving it a try.

I have no doubt that the old Bruno's was better than it is now. I've never been here before its reincarnation, but I happen to like how it is today. Like most bars, they're not crowded on the weekdays, but their high points are their happy hour till 9 p.m., chill hip hop music, and flatscreens aplenty to catch a movie playing or watch a local sports team kick some ass (or not). The bar staff have always been friendly, and seem to have a keen sense of scanning the room and finding out who's order needs to be filled right away. The food is decent bar fare. On two occassions, they managed to overcook part of my gardenburger, but that's forgivable after a few drinks. For the tightwads, they also offer free communal chips and salsa. While waiting for a friend, I noticed the turntables and mixer were covered with saran wrap. Whomever did that must be Asian.
