by Isabel L. on FIRST STOP OF THE NIGHT : Cielo DATE: May 16 Saturday State of mind: Soberr and ready to dance Drinks: Cranberry Vodka that tasted like 5 shots of Vodka on the rocks Music: Trance Crowd: 25+ I'm normally not crazy of trance but this place got some kick ass beats that got me movin'. Like the crowd, like the music, Strong drinks but pricey. oOO the highlight of the night was the mist/smoke that gushes out of the stage once every hour or do. It's like standing in the dark for two minutes....perhaps its a cue for guys to go for that kiss/grab/whatever. p.s. I played a joke on my friend by grabbing her butt and totally blaming it on some random guy. Conclusion: Perhaps this club is my calling for Trance?
by Houston Pernod on This place has class and is an old-skool lounge. Waiters are in uniform, there is a line of martini glasses chilling, fresh fruit garnishes, and tasty drinks. It is also dimly lit, which adds to the feeling of being far away from the somewhat crusty corner on which it is located. The only reason it isn't 5 stars...sometimes you are not in the mood to hear people "attempt" their rendition of Cabaret on the (sometimes) 'open mic'. Sometimes you just wanna talk. P.S. The female bartender knows her shit!
