1st floor entices you to come in with its cool blue colors. Long bar with hot bartenders makes it even more enticing. Decent dance club music bumping, but no room to dance. Standing room only. So head up the stairs to the second level. Oh wait... the music really sucks on that level and the floor is completely empty. Feel like leaving? Don't leave yet! There's a third level. Yep, that's right. Another level. So head on up. Walking up the stairs. Heading on up. And them BAM! Hit a wall of bodies (and not in a good way...) Third floor overcrowded. Can't even get to the bar. Can't fit on the dance floor. So hot. So sticky. Music sucks. Time to go.

Overpriced drinks. Creepy, dank underground atmosphere. Old men. Yup, Columbus 72 has it all. I recently went to Columbus 72 for an alumni night and was pretty disappointed that the people organizing the event picked this spot. The simplest of drinks are weak, poorly mixed and cost $8-10. The music is so bad it's hard to dance, although I don't know if I'd recommend dancing anyway given the sort of people you find on the dance floor. And worst of all, there is a cover. They actually charge for this?

Supperclub has one seating "starting" at 7:30 pm, which has five courses, served approximately every 45 minutes. Food: Interesting, but portions are small and served at a snail's pace. Salad were dry greens with dabs of soft goat cheese and mini golden beets Soup was a potato / chestnut with raisins. First course was scallops on top of coleslaw, garnished with thin radish slices. Unfortunately, due to an altercation between a member of our party and our waiter were were unable to enjoy the rest of the meal. Bar: Bartender was not attentive. Took 30 minutes to provide drinks at the bar. However, if we ordered from the waiter that came to our table, it was a little quicker. Service: The wait staff were very quick to serve drinks. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant, so it took quite a long time for everyone to be served. Music: Some was danceable. Might be too loud for some people. I could only talk with people right next to me. Environment: The bedding was soft, but our group of twelve were forced to huddle around two tables, each which normally sat 4 people. Overall, while I am happy I had a chance to experience Supperclub, I was happier when we got to leave early, even if we did miss out on the main course and the dessert. I think the concept is good, but the execution still left a lot to be desired, especially with regards to the service and the management. It is an experience but one I don't want to repeat and one I would not recommend to anyone.
