Don't waste your time I have been to more fun places near skid row LA, no kiddding. The place is whack, overpriced, crowd is ok, drinks weak and pretentioous (And i frequent cool places in LA) so trust me I know. If you are vising from LA, go to 230 5th Roof Top Lounge, that is an excellent place, and everthing about it is perfection.
by Curtis Simien on I had no idea that this place was so cool. Most people hear "The W" and they think Hotel, well actually "The W" next to Perimeter Mall has an Awesome Happy Hour on Fridays. There is a live band on the patio, they have a really cool vibe and they invite random people up to the mic to introduce themselves which is an icebreaker for meeting new people. The sushi is awesome, and they always have great drink specials. I love going here to unwind after a crazy week at work. The environment is very relaxed, there is plenty of room for large crowds...and ladies the guys are very attractive...wink, wink
