Very cool, modern decor. Great bartenders, love the management and the bouncers - this is a shout out to Mikey! :) But, I can not STAND the music. And, I can't figure out why I still go. Maybe because it is right next to Cypress - the convenient alternative? Because I know a few people there? Because I happen to run into some of the same regulars? Nah, I think its because I am always drunk. Call me the lemon drop connoisseur. And Halo has undoubtedly the WORST lemon drop shot I have ever had in my life. To the point that I thought the bartender was actually trying to poison me. Regardless, whatever it is that draws me there (on a regular basis) - only manages to keep me there long enough to make my rounds of hello and kisses before I have to bail because the DJ insists on playing purely techno. So, why three stars? Guilt, pure GUILT. These are cool people. Halo, not so much.

This place is hilarious. They have shells glued to the walls! I went once and it was awful so I tried again but....it's a joke. If you have ever gone to a real night club you know that this is not one of them. The music is awful. Who cuts off Juicy to play some crappy remake of a crappy 80s song? I've been dragged here twice and I refuse to go again- I don't care who's birthday it is!
