by Chad H. on So I went to Flip Burger today for the first time without high expectations. I was expecting just a bunch of hyped up burgers with fancy names that were a little short on taste... I WAS WRONG The food was awesome. I tried both the Cuban burger and the Po Boyger and still can't decide which was my favorite. Who new smashing shrimp together in the shape of a burger and adding a fried lemon would be delicious. I had to also try a shake while I was there so I went with the Krispy Kreme. The shake was good but not $6 good which brings me to the only downside and reason for 4 and not 5 stars. The place is a little pricey for lunch. With just a burger, shake and tip my lunch was $18. Even with the price I will be back... just not that often
by Noe Ibale on I'm not a fan of clubs, but I went here on Friday for the comedy show. I have to say, I wasn't too impressed. $9 for a tumbler-sized Captain & Diet? Please. Plus, what's up with the decor and that stupid net that hangs over the dance floor. Laaaaaame. Oh, and the truck-stop-date-rape-"Hostel"-looking bathrooms were a show all their own. Being here reminded me why I don't go out drinking downtown, and why I specifically don't go to clubs.
