Its a small music venue and "after hours" club joint on Vine north of hollywood blvd. Parking is a breeze, what with the Pantages and Avalon amongst other things right there. Expect ot pay 15-20 for parking, or luck out on a meter. Standard small music venue, staff was helpful and the lines for a show were not bad given being sold out. Sound has been good both times I've seen shows here. Drinks are strange my drink didn't taste quite right, and they run about 7-8 bucks. Anyway its just fine for a show. No complaints.

Remember folks, we're supposed to be rating the venue, not the events. The cover, the hours, sometimes the bartenders will vary from night to night, but it's the *venue*, not Bootie or Remedy or $event that we're talking about here. That said, I think this is my favorite venue ever. I'm a geek. They cater to geeks - there are live and archived streams of the events available on the website for nights when I can't drive all the way up to the City, there's WiFi and internet terminals, free earplugs, and industrial decor that just makes me frikkin' happy. Edited to add: The DNA now serves food out of the upstairs room. Good stuff, and decently priced, too! Yum!
