Ok, so I go on rateclubs and was appaled by the "dress code" enforcement, so just in case, we actually donned better threads to go to Glendale - only to be greeted by a group of people that looked like they rolled out of their Affliction bed. Ok, so they share a parking lot with In n Out and only valet (the special kind and the not so special kind)- I still had to go in, it was my friend's birthday. Ok, so they make you pay cover when we were coming in to eat. Ok, so the security treated my bag like it had vials of ebola virus. Ok, so the bouncer shines a flashlight on your face. Ok, so I had to move my dinner seat because the lingering smell of vomit was distracting, to put it mildly. Ok, so the wine glasses weren't clean. But do NOT, soil and wrinkle a perfectly good Helmut Lang shirt that just came out of the bag, just so you can prove that your rope is better than Hollywood. Because it's not. Oh well. They try. I must say, it's a nice sized spread, probably a good place to hang with your crazy party friends who love to get down. As for me, lesson learned: not enough patience in the world for me to return.
by Araceli Ochalek on BAD!!!There was no REAL food, they talk about a Puerto Rican dish on their website so we drove there, starving! Only to find NACHOS! The drinks aren't all that, they didn't even have Mojitos. The cashier jiped us on our change by $20, and there is nothing authentic about this place, except...the Music. GOOD: The band is great I would go back just to dance. They have a great sound and are probably the only reason worth going back out there.
