My boyfriend celebrated our 3 year anniversay here when we were in town for the weekend. It was highly recommended by our hotel concierge and several other people. This is a really cool, trendy Asian Fusion restaurant and it was everything we expected. We had a 9:00 reservation on a Sunday night and it was packed! We were seated right away in the main downtstairs area just feet away from the big Budda statue. I had a chicken dish and my boyfriend had one of the beef dishes and we had the lobster spring rolls to start...all were amazing. It was kind of similar to PF Changs...but much nicer and much more expensive. We had champagne and wine and the service was good. The restaurant has a big bar area with tons of seating...almost looks like a club. The dining are consists of a big open room with high ceilings, the walls are lined with bigger table and couches and there is an upstairs area. At the far end of the restaurant is an ENORMOUS budda statue that was pretty cool. The muic was loud but that goes with the ambiance of the restaurant. Definitely a very upscale, trendy place to go. We even saw the wrestler, Chuck Lidell, there with a big group. I managed to get a picture of the top of his head from upstairs :) This is a place that would be great for a birthday celebration or a place to go before a night out...the loud music and ambiance definitely get you in the mood for a long night out!

GROUP Rateclub: Veggie combo. A little mild for our spicy pallets. The flavors were okay, but nothing really stood out. The front room wallpaper is fancy, the place was full but not too loud for a good conversation. The waitess was very nice. The food came quick. It was inexpensive. All in all, the place was fine. Three stars, but if I was by myself, I would have given it 2.

As an Inman Park resident, I was excited for a new restaurant to take over the Grape's spot. Plus, as a taco lover, I was especially excited for a taco place I could walk to (even though I already had Across the Street, variety is always nice). Alas, Pure disappoints. The food is kind of greasy and bland, the tacos can't be ordered alacarte, and the patio is not enclosed. Eating tacos on a patio is one of the reasons why I love TDS (Taqueria Del Sol). Also, the music is really, really too loud. I can respect places trying to set a certain vibe, but when you have a headache from going to a restaurant, something isn't right. And, what's the deal with the bathrooms? The place was gutted and redone, but the sinks in the bathrooms look like they were found in a dumpster from the 1950s. Rusty, and generally just gross. Pure--you can redeem yourself: turn down the music, cut some of the grease, and do your best to imitate TDS. Or even El Taco.
