by Amanda H. on There were 4 of us and we all payed $6 for shoe rental + $13 per game + $10+ per drink.. Maybe it's because I had a few too many gutter balls but our first game seemed to go by fast and we couldn't afford number two.. which is unfortunate because you always need a warm up game to really get going, right? We payed up, finished our drinks, counted our pennies... then spotted light up squares under the stairs and did a fab Michael Jackson-esque photo shoot. My Manhattan was tasty, music was pop top 40, swanky feel compared to other bowling experiences I've had in the city - cool, but kinda spendy if you ask me. P.S. I did kick royal ass the next day in a friendly but competitive round of bean bag toss and was thankful my aiming skills had been honed.
by Bud Kivela on This place is awesome. The atmosphere is very elegant. I love the lighting and design. The only problem was... you can only sit if you have reserved bottle service. But that's ok cause I didn't mind standing. The drinks are well made and addicting. I definitely went down the slide, but it is a fast ride so brace yourself! I will definitely be back, but I will get the table service. We didn't have a problem getting in, but we were dressed up and stylin... Update: 03/03/06 I got bottle service for a few of my friends to celebrate by birthday and my braces coming off. We had a BLAST!!! They treated me and my guests with absolute rock star style. They took care of my guests as they arrived and I didn't even have to move from my seat or pour my own drinks. The evening started off low-key and the place turned into a full on dance party! It completely reminded me of a Vegas style club..... ooohh... now I want to go to Vegas.... I had a great time and would definitely do it again!! Now the big question is.... I have scratches on my arms and I can't remember how i got them....
