I was very apprehensive about coming to Duvet because of all the bad reviews - but the bouncers were a lot nicer than I expected. The club itself is a bit dirty - many people just dropped their drinks on the floor - there was gum on the beds itself! The drinks werent' that great and they were expensive! Another con is how quickly the DJ changed the songs - once a good song came on he would change it in a few seconds - it's just completely unsuitable for dancing and not to mention - they need to put on different songs! After about an hour they started replaying the same songs (which were all like z100 hits)! The crowd was.. ok.. there were a group of people that were practically having an orgy on the beds! (If you decide to go - I would NOT recommend sitting on the beds as you don't know what's been there or how often they change their sheets). The only good thing was I didn't pay to go in. All in all, it was an ok experience but I do not believe I will go back again.

Wow. The lameness of this club reminds me of how terrible the idea of having a club in a neighborhood like the Tenderloin is. It was a little different when this club used to be Polyesther's.......at least then they had something different and fun going on musically, but even Polyesther's, as great as it was when it first opened, died out to people getting sick of dealing with piss smelling heroin junkies and crackheads on their way to waiting on the piss smelling sidewalk to get in. I can't believe that now people are dealing with those same piss smelling heroin junkies and crackheads on their way to waiting on the same piss smelling sidewalk to get into the same club, but without the cool light up dancefloor, less dancing space overall than it used to have, and generic radio hip hop that doesn't inspire anything on the dancefloor other than a generic bump and grind. This club is worth avoiding at all costs, if you really like being harassed by crazy junkies.....and those smelly crazy junkies are what inspires you to have a great night out, go one block down to Mason St. and go to Crash instead.
