Fun.  I think it'd be a great place to go on a first date since there is definitely a lot to discuss about the restaurant itself, if conversation about other things lags:  Anime, the Woody Allen film "Sleeper" (which is what the restaurant most reminded me of), the interesting menu, the sushi belt, the weird bathrooms, the pods themselves, the people watching... I went with a friend around 8 pm.  If I went with a date, I'd go a little later ( 9 pm) since when we got there it was still pretty loud in the dining area and was a little hard to hear my friend (and the waiter).  It could've also just been that we were sitting behind a (loud) group of roughly 20 people though.  Maybe normally its better. I thought the food was a bit on the expensive side for what it was (pretty good, not great food), but the portions are pretty huge and if we would've shared entrees and appetizers we could've paid something far more reasonable for our dinner.

Tastey food, friendly waiter, great ambience, & short wait-time (for a table and our food). I went here on a Saturday night.  I was a little hesitant because I never tried African food before, but I was delightfully surprised at how good their food was once they served our avocado appetizer. Our waiter was very friendly (and cute).  The food came to us quickly and we even managed to receive a free martini on the house.  The menu was very simple with both meat and veggie entrees and the pricing was perfect--not expensive and appetizers go from the $7-15 range. When I got my shrimp kebabs with the couscous I literally had a food orgasm.  It was soooo tastey.  And as a fan of reggae, dancehall, and old-school hip-hop, I really enjoyed the music the dj was spinning in the background. I need to go back because I have yet to taste the other intriguing cocktails listed on their drink menu.
