by Grash A. on Great service, beautiful decor, the music is standard and it is so hard to get in if you do not know anybody at the door i do not think it is worth the line. I do not really like the crowd at marquee. basically this place is overrated.
by Florene Barnar on I never thought I'd give a Busby's 4 stars but I have to admit - I had a good time. My friends and I call this "New Busby's". Granted, it's not really new anymore...but it's definitely an improvement. My friends used to live stumbling distance to the old Busby's in SM so I always got dragged there when I went down to SoCal to visit them. I hated it! It was like being stuck in one of the snotty li'l bars in the Marina, except the people were better looking and dumber. The New Busby's has a huge dance floor! Loved that. Hated the music, though. I would have liked to hear something from this century. DJ had a serious hard on for early and mid-90's random hip hop. Reminded me why I hated junior high. The hot guys who jumped in the middle of my group of friends and danced their little hearts out are the real reasons I'm giving this place 4 stars. They were kind enough to remove their shirts. These part-time models/aspiring actors made my night. The only six packs I see up here in San Francisco have Stella Artois stamped on the front. I'll definitely have no problem if my friends drag me here the next time I'm in town. In fact, I just might insist.
