by Carly C. on Easily one of my favorite places in the city, though I agree that it is not what many consider to be a "club." It is a posh lounge with a relaxed and chic vibe, the most amazingly sweet and personable bartenders around, and extra cozy seating. Not a place to go to meet people, really. But, if you have a sexy date and want dark corners where you can chat and snuggle up without being bothered by immature nonsense, this is the place to be. I am always pleased with my drinks, the service is always impeccable and unpretentious, and I always leave with a smile on my face.
by Lincoln Alderink on I enjoy meeting friends for drinks at Middlesex. It's a sexy, hip atmosphere, but not over the top. The drinks are good and strong, and they've got yummy (but pricey) bar food. I've never hung out for music or dancing. I just find it to be a nicely appointed place to meet early in the evening for drinks and a chat.
