Where has this place been all my life?!? Outdoor lounge area?? Private booths? Waterfalls and ponds? Fully stocked bars??!!!....My wet dream has come to life! ahhh! The Compound, what is there to say besides " I think I love you!" The atmosphere is relaxed, the drinks are strong, and to the DJ...im stealing your mac STAT!! SN: It's usually not my policy to pay ($10 entry fee) but I must admit it was worth it. HELLZ YEAH!!

Judging by the number of reviews, I don't think I could say anything about tangerine that hasn't already been said. It is fabulous. Might even be my absolute favorite restaurant in Philly. The design aesthetic of the whole place is just genius, the service is impeccable, and the food, obviously, is to die for. The crab and feta phyllo is outrageous, and I think I have actually had dreams about those fried cheesecake cannoli things. Stephen Starr, you might be a jerk, but you know what you're doing.
