by Erasmo Kruzel on Oh snap, it's Midnight Rodeo. This is the kind of place you go to when you're feeling ironic. Or, I guess, if you really like country music... I went a few times for really cheap drinks. My husband says some of his coworkers like going there because they let in girls under 21, who they are more likely to convince they're decent guys, but said underage girls are "marked" with a wristband. Sexist coworkers aside, my favorite time going here was when I took my college roommate who had come to visit me from Boston. She flipped out when she saw "real cowboys," mini pitchers of beer, and ESPECIALLY when the live country band played a cover of Nelly's "Hot in Hurr." Priceless (y'all.)
