by Jenn M. on This is the place to be on a Thursday night. What an awesome idea . . . creating a 21+ evening to view one of SF's coolest museums. You've definitely got to purchase your tickets online and do not arrive "fashionably" late --- you'll be sadly disappointed by the long lines. Its cooler than a bar on a Thursday night. Girls dress to impress here. Its actually kind of weird . . . feels a little teeny bopper in that way. -1 star for the hefty booze prices.
by Grant Golida on I've had a love/hate relationship with Martuni's for years now. It all depends on which night you go. The weekends lean toward the shoulder to shoulder, baby boomer, well heeled, gay men's choir extravaganza kind of evening. If that is your thing, more power to you. However, if you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, mon-thurs is your best bet. The piano goddess on tuesday night patiently helped me through my Air Supply diddy with almost no irony. That is hard to do. I think I love her. We should have beautiful piano playing babies together. These miracle babies will also know all the words to "All Out of Love", because I, do not. 5 stars.
