There's a smoking room? No wonder I couldn't breathe. I kept thinking, why is the ventilation so bad that all the smoke from outside is smothering the interior space? This place is trashy. Kind of place you go to when you're piss drunk, or will get piss drunk once you're there. Even though I'm not into the dancy/clubby scene, I'm not a fan of this place as I've seen better. Did NOT enjoy my time there. Time for Grey Goose shots! Kudos to the good variety in music and comedic staff. One guy was covering the stairs to go up - he let some girls up and to others (with a straight face) denied access saying there is no restroom upstairs. Haha!

This place came as a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel.  Great food (as you can see from the other reviews) and wines galore, but the best thing about this place is that you can enjoy the, for lack of a better word, "hip" vibe and never be suffocated by pretension.  No one comes up to your table assuming you want sparkling water -- everyone from the hostess to the knowledgeable wait staff is chill and down to earth.  If only I could have transported this experience to the majority of "hip" places back in California...
