by Tillie Caneva on Hiro is definitely a hip, fun spot. The times that I have been there it has not been that difficult to get in. The only downside I feel of Hiro is I have dealt with some unpleasant bartenders and the drinks are a bit pricey. Otherwise it is a fun place to dance the night away into the late hours. Occasionally, there will be women singing around from the ceiling in an acrobatic show which is always fun. Cool entertaining spot and def worth checking out.
by Stephanie W. on After attending the last rateclub Elite event here, I thought it might be a good place to have my birthday dinner with a group of 14 of my finest friends & family. The space definitely lends itself to large groups which is a rare find in the city. The ambiance was chill, the service was on par, the rooftop bar was rockin'...the only thing that failed to excite me was the food. And anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE ME SOME FOOD!! It was a serious bummer from a foodie stand point. I enjoyed the tapas style menu, but the items were hit or miss in terms of flavor and overall preparation. I also felt that the menu was a bit too scattered. They had dishes from a variety of different countries (Indian, Spanish, Greek, etc.)...it was too confusing for my poor little palate. It's ok for a party (due to the expansive space), but I personally won't be dining here again.
