by Larue Hylands on Went there for a night of AZN partying to kick off the July 4th Holiday. Besides all of the drinking and debauchery, let's get into the statics: 1) Very big place with a great, large smoking patio for the smokers. 2) Enough bars littered all over to keep the masses happy without waiting all night to get one drink or resort to double fisting. 3) Great decor - seemed high end, but then again, people are watching mostly people. As for my personal insight - the guys at Presto (promoters of the night) did a good job bringing in alot of nice looking people and the night wasnt wasted by hanging out at a dude fest, sword fight, or whatever you want to call it. Good friends, good partying, good atmosphere - Diggin it!
by Grant G. on I love Thursday's 1984 party: It's The place to dance and have fun. I've been to cat since 2000 on and off. Usually I go there to dance like mad man. It's super warm anytime of the year. One time I went there at a night about 40 degree and I was asking my friend over the phone if I should ware jacket or just t-shirt since it's far from my car to the club, "t-shirt, and run". She was right. The place is always packed, sweaty, steamy. But no matter how people complain about it: that is what makes cat special on Thursday, and people keep coming back.
